Description

BASF's PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait is a highly effective solution for swiftly eradicating a range of fly species, providing up to 30 days of lasting protection. This dynamic bait product serves as an excellent alternative when traditional methods like fly lights and granular bait products have proven ineffective. Once a targeted fly comes into contact with surfaces, both indoors and outdoors, treated with PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait, it will succumb within a short period. For optimal outcomes, consider integrating PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait into your existing fly prevention regimen, which may involve utilizing residual and contact sprays, traps, and drain cleaners.

To ensure safety during application, it is crucial to equip yourself with the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes chemical-resistant gloves, a face mask, goggles, a long-sleeve shirt, long pants, coveralls, as well as closed-toe shoes with socks.

How to Apply:

  • Step 1: Begin by inspecting areas where fly activity has been observed or where infestations are likely to occur, such as trash cans, lids, under tables, and benches. Avoid applying PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait to areas that are regularly cleaned.
  • Step 2: Position your PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait towards the targeted area, ensuring that the distance does not exceed 12 inches (30 cm). Depress the actuator to initiate the application.
  • Step 3: Using a sweeping motion, apply a light coat of PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait to the surface, ensuring that it does not lead to excessive runoff. Maintain a rate of approximately 2 inches per foot per second.
  • Step 4: Monitor the treated areas and reapply PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait when it is no longer visible or when a fly infestation reoccurs.

Recommended Usage Areas:

PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait is suitable for use in both indoor and outdoor areas. It can be applied to various locations, including garbage receptacles and lids, refuse containers, underneath tables and benches, recycling bins, dumpsters, behind vending machines, under bars, calf hutch ceilings, eave areas, walls, beam edges, around windows and window frames, narrow eaves, lavatories, floor drains (sewers), entries and vestibules, offices, locker rooms, machine rooms, boiler rooms, garages, mop closets, storage areas (after packaging, canning, or bottling), garbage rooms, commercial and residential buildings, industrial buildings, apartments, bakeries, campgrounds, county and state fair facilities, daycare centers, food handling and processing plants, food storage areas, golf courses, homes, hospitals, hotels, mobile homes, nursing homes, porches, restaurants, public restrooms, rest areas, schools, supermarkets, parks, warehouses, and zoos.

Attention:

it is important to note that PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait should not be applied directly over or on food preparation or food processing areas.

When to Apply:

PT Alpine Pressurized Fly Bait should be applied when there is a fly infestation or as a preventative measure before indoor and outdoor events.

Safety Precautions:

When PT Alpine PT Pressurized Fly Bait is applied following the instructions on the product label, it is safe to use around children and pets. However, it is crucial to always wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) when spraying this product. For any removable bait placements, it is important to clearly mark them with the phrase "Fly Bait, Do Not Touch" (either written or typed) at the bottom of the rope or twine. These placements should be positioned in areas that are inaccessible to children, pets, and livestock.

Things to Consider:

If there are any unintended applications of PT Alpine PT Pressurized Fly Bait, they can be easily eliminated by using a water-dampened paper towel.
